The weather is finally cooling down here so now it isn't completely crazy to wear jeans. I saw this blouse at a local thrift store and scooped it up so quickly. The mix of the neon coral with the tan is a beautiful combination and takes the center stage in any outfit. I decided to go with my dark skinny jeans and tan heels to keep the colors consistent. Another piece of the blouse I adore is the little bow detailing on the back- it adds the perfect feminine touch to an already amazing blouse.

It's always refreshing to have a simple outfit and beautiful accessories- today was one of those days. I opted for comfortable linen shorts and a loose white sweater. I accessorized with this multiple chain necklace from Target; what I love about this piece is the alternating colors of chains between gold and white. Then to add some color, I wore these bright wedges. I saw them in the beginning of the summer, but didn't want to spend too much on them. Luckily, when I came home from camp they had been clearanced...twice! How can you say no to that?!

DIY Statement Necklace

I recently purchased this summery blouse for only $6. Not only was I drawn to the price tag but also the vibrant color and crocheted detailing on the neckline. I thought it needed a pretty statement necklace so I went to my local craft store and bought beads to compliment the blouse. It was such an easy project and only took about an hour!

Burberry Tote

This blush skirt has such beautiful detailing, so I decided to keep the rest of my outfit simple to showcase the skirt. I added some blush peep-toe heels, a cream sweater tank, cat-eye sunnies and my Burberry tote to tie in all the colors. It was the perfect feminine and chic outfit for a pretty summer day.

The flowy chiffon is perfect for this summer heat and with just a small breeze, there is so much movement in the dress. The back has a sheer panel at the top and a semi open back; these little details really add to the femininity of the dress. This combination of metallic gold and jeweled tone purple is an elegant mix and a new favorite of mine.
