The weather is finally cooling down here so now it isn't completely crazy to wear jeans. I saw this blouse at a local thrift store and scooped it up so quickly. The mix of the neon coral with the tan is a beautiful combination and takes the center stage in any outfit. I decided to go with my dark skinny jeans and tan heels to keep the colors consistent. Another piece of the blouse I adore is the little bow detailing on the back- it adds the perfect feminine touch to an already amazing blouse.

Just a quick post before my portfolio presentation tonight. I wore this outfit yesterday for a day full of errands. The shoes are so easy to walk in and really transform an ordinary outfit into an effortlessly chic outfit! I also went thrifting and found an item I have been searching for forever, so be prepared for an upcoming DIY post.

Today was sunny and warm so I opted for a bright blouse and a neon belt. The top is actually a PJ top/bathing suit coverup- but I prefer to wear it as a blouse :)  It's probably one of my favorite shirts ever: it's seafoam and has skulls...I adore both! I found this belt while thrifting last week and was super excited because I'm crazy about neons and it was only $2. Ok. I know. I wear a lot of neutrals! I've always worn more neutrals than colors; I try to buy colors but I'm always drawn to more earthy tones. So I added a bright teal and orange watch to spice up the outfit a bit. I'm taking a few days off blogging to head to volunteer at a winter camp. So what that means is: no sleep, cold noses, crazy kids, snowballs, and amazing memories! Packing for winter weather was really hard for me, I'm used to California winter aka sandals, the occasional t shirt, and just maybe a dress with no tights, so this should be interesting.

I decided to dress up a simple outfit today! I wore a casual tank and tied the bottom because it's a little baggy. Then I added a black blazer and skinny jeans that I tucked into my booties. I wore a simple and pretty necklace to fancy it up.  Jewelry is one thing that I never think to buy, so normally I just borrow my Mom's pieces and this happens to be one of my favorites.
