Cloth + Stone Chambray - c/o Marshalls
Finge Skirt - Forever 21
Dolce Vita Heels - Poshmark
Fringe is huge right now and I'm trying to incorporate it into so many of my looks.
There's something totally carefree about a fringe skirt- it's a little edgy because of the faux leather, but the fringe gives some fun movement to break it up. I'm drawn to statement pieces for outfits; they can be worn with simple pieces for an everyday look or paired with other statement pieces for a striking outfit. I initially worn an embroidered blouse, but they went back to my favorite printed denim shirt from Marshalls. Ladies, when in doubt...pair it with a chambray. You can't go wrong!
I get all my denim tops from Marshalls because they have so many prints and carry my favorite label: Cloth + Stone (carried at Anthropologie) and sold for a fraction of the price.
And I couldn't resist the little animation. It's the only way to show how fun wearing a fringe skirt it. Since it's such a trendy piece, I got it at Forever 21 since it wasn't too much of an investment.

Joes Jeans - c/o Marshalls
Top - c/o Marshalls
Blazer - Target
Heels - Thrifted
When I want to go for more of a laid-back outfit, the first thing I reach for is a pair of distressed jeans. There's just something about them that oozes "cool" and I love that they're all so different. You can have a darker wash with subtle distressing or bleached out jeans, covered in rips. I was browsing the racks at..you guessed it..Marshalls! I found this pair of Joes jeans and loved the bleached out wash and the distressing all over. I have been eyeing One Teaspoon's distressed jeans for quite some time, but I couldn't bring myself to spend over $150 on one pair. No way, not gonna happen! This pair was only $49.99 vs. $160! The boyfriend fit was the perfect contrast with my structured vest and I added a simple tank from The Cube at Marshalls. I know I post tons of Marshalls finds and this is exactly why- I'm able to find in-season, designer items at a fraction of the cost. I've tried shopping at department stores and always find myself looking for that second tag, you know..the discounted one! That moment is when I knew I was ruined...but in the best way possible! I've always enjoyed the thrill of the hunt and finding incredible deals and Marshalls makes that happen for me!
If you follow me on Instagram (@FrancescaPenko) I posted about Uriah's birthday party this past weekend. It was so fun celebrating with loved ones and watching him devour a cupcake..well.. two cupcakes. So messy! There was blue frosting everywhere and I wouldn't have it any other way.

1st Outfit
Dress- Plato's Closet ($6!)
Hat - Plato's Closet
Heels - c/o Marshalls
2nd Outfit
Rag & Bone top - c/o Marshalls ($10!)
Restyled Joes Jeans
Uriah's Shorts - c/o Marshalls
Summer is right around the corner and I'm already breaking out my warm weather clothing. Usually our afternoons are spent downtown - Nick and I grab lattes and take Uriah to splash around in the fountain and play on the grass. It's a fun way to have family time and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Lately I've been reaching for lighter fabrics and prints, and always grabbing some type of sandal. I decided to pair this outfit with a laser-cut bootie, but added this cute pair from Simons to my wish list. It's like a new, sleeker take on the popular Birkenstock.
If you saw on Instagram, Uriah turned a year old. What?! Where has time gone? I can't believe our little guy is technically a toddler. I guess they weren't lying when the said the first year goes by so quickly. Here area few little photos I took of him. If you can't tell..he loved that cupcake!
Also- I'm always looking for cute t-shirts and found this amazing Rag & Bone top from Marshalls...for only $10 - amazing! You will definitely be seeing it again ;)

Printed Chambray
Friday, January 17, 2014
Chambray: ℅ Marshalls
Dress: H&M
Sam Edelman Booties: Marshalls
Bag: TJMaxx
Oia Jules Necklace: ℅ 9th & Elm
I mentioned a few weeks back, that I was sent two necklaces from 9th & Elm. Well, this beauty I'm wearing is the second one! Once Elizabeth (Oia Jules designer) released this style, I fell in love. And I fell hard. The vibrant agate slices paired with the chunky gold chain made for a stunning statement piece. I wanted the necklace to take center stage in this outfit, so I kept everything else very simple. Another item I'm crazy about is my new chambray from Marshalls. I can't get enough of the subtle print; in my opinion, it really takes the top to a whole new level.
Today marks 25 weeks for my pregnancy and I'm still loving every second of it…even after my glucose test :) (which actually tasted pretty good!)
I hope you all enjoy your weekend and thank you again for reading.

Gypsy 05 Blouse: c/o Marshalls
Paige Jeans: Marshalls
Studded Heels: Marshalls
Necklace: Forever 21
Hype Bag: Plato's Closet
The weather is starting to change, so I know the summer outfits will have to transition to fall soon. But for now, I'm still enjoying summer colors and the last few weeks of warm sunshine. I spotted this Gypsy 05 blouse at a local Marshalls, on clearance for only $25, which was a steal! I'm a sucker for sheer fabrics with beautiful prints, and this geometric stunner was a must-have for my closet.

Bohemian Dress
Thursday, August 29, 2013
River Island Dress: ASOS
Vintage Clutch: Thrifted
Sandals: Plato's Closet
Jewelry: TJMaxx/Target/Jcpenny
This dress is the epitome of bohemian chic- a flattering cut
with so many vibrant fabric details that pop against the white dress. I piled
on the accessories, while still keeping it neutral. It’s such a breezy dress
that makes a great bikini cover-up or can be dressed up (like pictured) for a
date night look.
I found this dress from Roamans that is perfect for fall, while still keeping with the bohemian chic vibeIt’s a great transitional piece that can seamlessly carry
over into the upcoming seasons. What’s not to love?!
