Lately the days have been warm, but I'm itching to wear fall layers. This outfit combined the best of both worlds- light layers that I could keep on all day. That's one of the many reasons I love kinomos. Not only are an easy way to add some color and movement to an outfit, but they're so feminine and  provide a little more coverage for cooler days. While I have always loved this trend, I would usually stick to ones that hit mid-thigh, just because I'm pretty short. The longer kimonos were so intimidating, especially the thought of pairing them with jeans. I thought it would totally shrink me! I found this one for only $7 and decided that I would step outside of my comfort zone a bit and try it out. Since it was under $10, it wouldn't be that much of a disappointment if I totally hated the look. After wearing it all day I've decided I'm a new fan of long kimonos! 

It's fun to step outside of your comfort zone every once in a while.

Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best ones. Right?

 I was sent these high-rise J Brands from Marshalls and fell in love with their cool wash. I don't have a pair of gray jeans in a light wash and J Brand just happens to be one of my favorite brands, so I was very excited when I received them. I love purchasing all my denim at Marshalls because it's high-quality, in season, and always affordable.  You know when football players score a touchdown and they do a victory dance? I do something like that when I find the exact same item I purchased at Marshalls, at a department store! It's seriously the best thing ever!

That happened recently with my Rag & Bone vest from this post. It was listed for over $150 at Nordstrom- yikes! I only paid $49.99. Can't hate that!

If I were to choose my favorite silhouette for jeans, I always choose skinny jeans. 

They're practical and pretty universally flattering. But recently, I've been drawn to flared jeans; they have such a fun 70s vibe to them and I think they fit my figure well. Flared jeans always are big during fall and winter seasons, so I'm glad I have a great pair for these cooler months coming up. I picked up this high-waisted designer pair at Marshalls and couldn't be more in love. They fit perfectly with a pair of heels and I'm crazy about the high-waisted fit. Plus, you really can't go wrong with a nice dark wash. I wanted to go for a completely boho look, so I added an embroidered lace blouse, my favorite felt hat, and loaded on the jewelry. I can't wait to restyle these jeans for cooler fall weather with some more structured pieces and lots of layers!

I'm not sure about you other fashion bloggers out there, but one thing I love about creating outfit posts is that I have an arsenal of outfits already put together that I can go to when I'm in a rush...since I'm always in a rush these days.And I can't tell you how excited I am to repeat this outfit. 

And yes, I repeat outfits!

I found this tank at a local thrift store and loved the eyelet fabric. A couple months ago, I wouldn't have grabbed this blouse because it's boxy shape would not have flattered my body, but now that I have a cute bump-it's perfect! I belted it with a nude belt, added some distressed skinny jeans, and heels to complete the look. 

Also, it's officially the holiday season!! At least by Starbuck's standards. 

Once my instagram feed was filling up with red cups, I became so giddy! There's something about those red cups that really make me excited for the holidays.

The weather is starting to change, so I know the summer outfits will have to transition to fall soon. But for now, I'm still enjoying summer colors and the last few weeks of warm sunshine. I spotted this Gypsy 05 blouse at a local Marshalls, on clearance for only $25, which was a steal! I'm a sucker for sheer fabrics with beautiful prints, and this geometric stunner was a must-have for my closet.
