It's harder to dress for freezing weather. I've been wearing lots on infinity scarfs lately, so I opted for a scarf-free look. I loved the cobalt blue against the olive jacket, it brought a little brightness to a wintery outfit. Let's be honest, I don't wear heels everyday and these booties have been on repeat for quite sometime. They add a little extra height and are comfortable all day long. 

I needed comfortable shoes yesterday because I worked all afternoon, then attended the best concert of my life

- Augustana at The Independent. It was an intimate venue and they played all their popular songs in acoustic. It was my favorite artist in the whole world and I enjoyed it with my favorite person in the whole world. It was incredible.

I love the look of mixed textures, like this fur vest paired with a delicate chiffon blouse. They are both similar colors and they work so well together. Plus, this super chic vest kept me really warm!

I spent the day in Berkeley with my husband browsing shops, drinking lattes, and eating way too many sweets.  If you are every in Berkeley you must go to CREAM- Cookies Rule Everything Around Me. You pick a type of cookie, then a type of ice-cream, and enjoy one of the most delicious creations ever. Trust me, it's worth the 20 person long line.

It was chilly this morning so I decided to wear this coat I got a few weeks back. I was browsing the racks at a local thrift store and I usually check the coat racks during my searching. I was feeling all the sleeves to find a soft coat and stopped at this thicker wool coat. I checked the tag and saw that it was a gorgeous J.Crew wool coat...in my size! It was in impeccable condition and the back had a split tail which I adored. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better--it did! The coat was only $9.99. Score! 

I decided to wear this bright skirt with a fuchsia top to play off the neon colors in the tweed skirt. I liked the unexpected fun colors under the black coat; I added black tights with simple pumps for a classier look.
