When the sun is shining and the days are warm, there's no question that we are outside enjoying it! We are lucky to have some great parks in our town, so we usually pack up toys and spend the afternoons there. Uriah's new favorite obsession is any kind of truck, so when I spotted this giant one at Marshalls -- I knew it would be perfect for our next park date. He was so excited and ran to grab it right away. I was pretty surprised to find it, because it's one of my favorite child toy brands that normally is sold at boutique children stores. Plus, it was only $24.99 compared to $48, so the price was perfect and it's made from recycled plastics, so it's eco-friendly too.
Another must have for our park dates is a blanket! I'm always sitting in the grass or on pavement, so I have recently started keeping blankets in my car and they're so practical to have! I ordered a few blankets last year on Ebay, but when they showed up, they were fleece instead of woven. Boo! I've started just stocking up on throw blankets from Marshalls, because they're always inexpensive and they have so many different prints and textures to choose from. Now that June is here already (which I still cant believe!), Uriah and I have plenty of park dates to come and lots of new goodies from Marshalls to take with us.
