It's been quite the whirlwind over here! If you haven't seen on social media or through trending posts on Facebook, I was a contestant on The Price is Right and happened to win an Aston Martin, crazy right? My phone and social media has been blowing up for days and everything is finally starting to simmer down.
For my 26th birthday Nick wanted to plan something fun and I knew exactly what I had wanted to do. I brought up the idea of possibly going to watch a taping of my favorite show- The Price is Right. We initially planned to go for the week before my birthday, but with schedules we chose the week after (thankfully!!)
I got priority tickets, totally free just have to add your email a few weeks in advance; the priority tickets secure a spot in the studio audience, you still need to wait in line..but that's fun because you're so excited to be there!

I've been getting a TON of questions about everything so here are all the fun details:

- We had NO idea I would get called down. Hence the excitement and jumping when my name was called. The say your name, but it's so darn loud that you look in the corner to see someone holding the names on a poster board. Nick was convinced they said his name, but when we looked it was mine!

-We went on November 16th and yes, we kept this huge secret for a few months. It was SO hard, but so worth it seeing all our friends' and families' reactions. Pure shock!

-Did you know it was Dream Car week? No idea! The keep it a secret and we just happened to be there on the perfect day. Pretty exciting!

-One person asked if I was prompted for choosing prices for items and I wasn't. Once I found out we were going on The Price is Right, I made it my mission to memorize every game and the typical prices for items. I think my studying paid off. Also, I'm a really good shopper ;)

-What made you pass up the $25,000?! I have NO idea. I'm not usually a gambling girl and I think if there was a stack of $25,000 that maybe I would have went the other way, but with the crowd screaming and the excitement, I just couldn't not flip the cards. Plus, the suspense was really killing me.

-Were my reactions real? Guys, they were real. Embarassingly real! In the time leading up to the show, I watched probably 75 episodes (thank you Youtube and DVR) and would always think to myself - I would never do that! I would never scream and jump around...it's just not me! Let me just say, the moment your name is called, a wave of excitement comes over you and you are cosmos by this happy/crazy/lose your mind energy. Embrace it!

-The BIG QUESTION - are you keeping the car?! Well currently I'm an owner of a 2016 Aston Martin, so maybe you will see me driving it around town ;)

Aside from getting married and having Uriah, it truly was one of the most exciting days of my life. Thanks again for all the sweet comments and congrats! We're very very thankful!
