The weather has been cold lately, but I'm trying to branch out of my normal cold-weather clothing picks: chunky knits, infinity scarfs, and thick socks. I was excited to wear this tweed blazer because it was warm and still chic. Perfect!

I picked up this tweed blazer at Target last week. It had so many great details on it- specks of sparkle threaded in, zippered detailing on the cuffs, and black accents throughout the jacket. It was also on sale for $10, just my style! I decided to wear these metallic heels (thrifted for $11) to accent the metallic threads in the jacket. There is something so glam about a monochromatic outfit and this one is no exception!

I’ve been crazy about fur vests this season, so I was very excited when I found this feather vest. It’s not the typical fur vest and that’s why I was drawn to it. There is something so glamorous about feathers and the navy blue color was an added bonus. I paired it with my favorite color-lavender. Lavender and navy make such a beautiful pairing; I couldn’t resist putting these pieces together. I added some suede booties, a pretty statement necklace, and cuffed jeans for a fancier, everyday look.

It's harder to dress for freezing weather. I've been wearing lots on infinity scarfs lately, so I opted for a scarf-free look. I loved the cobalt blue against the olive jacket, it brought a little brightness to a wintery outfit. Let's be honest, I don't wear heels everyday and these booties have been on repeat for quite sometime. They add a little extra height and are comfortable all day long. 

I needed comfortable shoes yesterday because I worked all afternoon, then attended the best concert of my life

- Augustana at The Independent. It was an intimate venue and they played all their popular songs in acoustic. It was my favorite artist in the whole world and I enjoyed it with my favorite person in the whole world. It was incredible.
