Fall Fashion Essentials - Remixed

Thursday, October 15, 2015

I shared about my fall essentials yesterday and how these three items can be mixed and matched in so many different outfits. Today I'm sharing each piece, remixed into a new look. The best part about it- each outfit head-to-toe is under $100, $75, and $50! Thanks to Marshalls and their amazing fall selection, I was able to shop for these outfits and keep my budget low, without sacrificing style!

I'll start with lowest priced outfit- $50

Blouse, AG Jeans, Clutch - c/o Marshalls
Thrifted Heels

The closet staple is the super slimming and totally chic flared jeans. I've seriously been stocking up on flared jeans from Marshalls. I'll be honest, I was kind of surprised by how big and incredible their selection for denim is this season. I had about 10 pairs in my cart and told myself I could only get 2, but THAT is how good it is this season. These were scored for $25 (insane, right?!) and are one of my favorite designer brands- AG Jeans. This brand knows how to make denim flattering for all body types. These jeans fit like a glove and feel like they were made for me specifically. I tucked in a gingham shirt I found this shirt on the sale rack for $10- since it was a tank top, it was clearanced with the summer fashion, but it's gingham print can be carried into your fall wardrobe with ease! I added a simple clutch also found on sale for $15 to finish the look. I think this is a chic outfit for everyday and no way does it look like it cost only $50- the beauty of Marshalls.

My second look - $75

Splendid Top, Ruana, Distressed Shorts- c/o Marshalls
Thrifted Booties
Forever 21 Necklace

The second fall essential that I'm most excited about is the ruana. It's not only a fun word to say hah, but it's insanely comfortable. I mean, it's like wearing a cozy blanket in public and I don't hate that! The key to keeping it from looking too laid back and like you just woke up, is pairing it with something structured underneath. Yesterday I wore it with a button-up top and flared jeans, and since it's still very hot here I paired it with distressed jeans and a structured top. I wanted to show you that ruanas aren't limited to cold weather, no way! But pair them with distressed jeans and some booties for a bohemian vibe. This one is just light enough and doesn't get me too hot in the 90 degree weather! This ruana was scored just a few days ago for $24.99- run, don't walk to your nearest Marsahlls to pick up this bad boy. Also, if you see it in a different color- tell me! I added a plaid shirt that I picked up for $24.99 and it happens to be one of my favorite brands- Splendid. This company that creates comfortable pieces in so many cute prints. Normally I never buy this brand since it's expensive, but Marshalls carries a huge selection of on-trend items, so I can't pass that up! I added my favorite distressed shorts and thrifted booties to complete this look. My sister who doesn't have the same style as me (a little sportier) looooved this look. She kept saying how she would never put it together on her own, but would wear it in a heart beat. Don't be afraid to step outside your fashion comfort level this season!!

My third and favorite fall look- $100

Ella Moss Dress, Scarf, Tart Hat, Steve Madden Booties - c/o Marshalls

The last fall essential is a white button-up, because everyone should own one of these! In this case it's a button-up dress, but yesterday I wore it as a shirt..talk about versatility! This look was all about accessorizing, because in this case that's what makes the outfit. I started with a white dress by Ella Moss- this was another clearance find from summer and was only $15! Whenever I go to Marshalls, the first place I hit up is the clearance rack, because you find incredible, and sometimes unbelievable deals. To bring a little fall to this outfit, I added fringe booties that were $59.99- I've already worn these countless times and love them! Felt hats are another trend I'm crazy about and I found this hat for only $14.99. The best part about this hat is that it has an elastic band you can tighten to fit your head so it won't fly off in the wind..which has happened to me and was so embarrassing. I felt like the  outfit needed something else, so I made my way to the scarf display to find one to add a pop of color. I found this cute red one for only $9.99. Scarfs are totally underrated, but they really can make such a difference in an outfit!

There you have it- my fall essentials that every gal needs!
