OR
I rejoiced when I found a lovely leather recliner on the side of the road

So I get a call from my mom while out running errands. She was asking my advice about this sofa/loveseat/chair out for free in front of a house. She was saying how nice it was and how I should look at it. My thinking is that it was maybe junkie; I mean it was out for free in front of a house! I thought something had to have been semi wrong with it. So I finished running my errand and figured I would drive by.

Low and behold I find this beauty waiting for me on the side of the road.

The neighbors had taken the sofa and loveseat (which were kind of creepy anyways) and left the chair. REJOICE! So I scooped the recliner up and proudly brought it home, beaming and feeling like the best wife.  Nick always needed a man chair, and I think he was pretty pumped about the price.

Nick in his new chair!
