Sweater: Forever 21 ($14)
Scarf: Target
J Brand Jeans: Thrifted ($4.99)
Sam Edelman Booties: Marshalls
La Mer Watch: Target
Bracelet: Forever 21

Hey friends! Hope you all enjoyed your holidays.
We had some great celebrations over here which included: hosting my family for Christmas dinner (almost 30 people!), going to my Aunt Monica's beautiful home for an open house, and then to my Uncle's for another feast. It was an amazing holiday time filled with great food and even better people :)

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen my latest thrift store scores, which included these J Brand jeans! I have been looking for some skinny jeans and was lucky enough to find these yesterday. And for only $4.99, how could I say no?! I added a cozy, lime-colored sweater, gold accents and simple Sam Edelman booties for a day full of errands, with a coffee date squeezed in-between.

Leopard Jeans

Blouse: H&M ($15)
Joe's Leopard Jeans: Ross ($30!)
Pumps: Kohls
Vintage Chanel
Bracelets: Target, c/o Oia Jules

It’s been gloomy lately, so I decided it was a leopard print kind of day.
I found these jeans last week while shopping in the city. I was checking out the clearance rack, when this beautiful print caught my eyes. What I especially like about these Joe’s jeans is that not only are they beyond comfortable, but they are a darker leopard print, which I don’t usually see. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit simple; I added a white blouse and black pumps, so neither would compete with the leopard. These black pumps are such a staple-they match with everything! The one problem is they are suede, so I cant wear them in the rain. After browsing a few shoe shops I found this pair that is perfect for any type of weather.
Maybe I’ll find this pair under the Christmas tree J

DIY Sequined Scarf

Tuesday, December 4, 2012

Sweater: H&M ($5)
Joes Moto Jeans: Plato's Closet
DVF Booties: Plato's Closet ($30)
DIY Infinity Scarf

I thought this outfit needed a little sparkly flair, so I quickly made this sequined infinity scarf out of a yard of fabric I had purchased for DIYs. I laid the fabric long ways and knotted both ends together. Later in the day, I sewed it together because I liked it so much. This sweater is another black friday find. It was $10 but I got money off from my scratch card so it was only $5. It's so soft and cozy-yet another perfect casual item that I will be using as a staple this winter.
