Rebecca Taylor Dress: ℅ Marshalls
Steve Madden Heels: Thrifted
Bracelet: TJMaxx

This is my last outfit with my baby bump! I bought this dress pretty early in my pregnancy, but I knew the silhouette would fit me later in my later months. It's from, you guessed it, Marshalls! I found it on the clearance rack and was super excited when I saw it was Rebecca Taylor. I usually skip on this designer brand because everywhere else that carries it is SO expensive. These dresses START at around $100- no way jose! I purchased this whimsical beauty for only $33! The best part about it is that I will be able to wear it this summer. The quality of the dress is amazing and I love the ruffled detailing on the one-shoulder neckline.
I wore this dress multiple times in my pregnancy, but my favorite moment would have to be my baby shower. I wanted to wear something that I would feel confident and beautiful in- and this dress did just that for me. Plus, it's so darn comfortable. Many people reach the end of pregnancy and don't feel confident or beautiful. Trust me- I had those days! I actually took these photos the day before I went into labor;  I was 39 weeks and 3 days and let me tell you- I felt amazing! I'm not saying a pretty dress solves all my problems, but it does give me a little pick-me-up once in a while :)

Eyelet Dress

Eyelet Dress: Thrifted
Big Star Jacket: Thrifted
Sandals: Forever 21 (online here)

I had been itching to wear this eyelet dress since I got it. When the temperatures reached the high 70's, I knew it would be the perfect outfit for a sunny day. Eyelet dresses just scream spring to me and I do love a good white dress. And how amazing are these sandals I'm wearing?!  I ordered them from Forever 21 and after them shipping me the wrong shoes, then the wrong size, I finally got my hands on them almost a month later. And I must say, they were totally worth the wait! The heel isn't too tall, so I can wear them with shorts and a slouchy t-shirt later this summer for a relaxed look.

Here's some more budget-friendly eyelet dresses that are perfect for spring:

Metallic Oxfords

Tank- Target
Oxfords- Thrifted ($8) (currently on sale at Target)
BLANK Leather Pants- ℅ Marshalls
Blazer- ℅ Marshalls

I found these metallic oxfords at the thrift store recently and decided I wanted to wear them so badly, I just built my entire outfit around these beauties. They're so comfy and now that it's only one month till my due date, these flat shoes are like walking on clouds. I love the laser cut accents on the side- perfect for warmer summer months! I can't wait to pair these with a lace mini or some distressed denim.
This blazer was another recent find. I love the subtle grey stripes and the fit of the blazer. It's such amazing quality, while still being budget friendly. Thank you, Marshalls!

Hope you all are enjoying your week!

Minty Fresh

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Loft Dress- Plato's Closet ($15)
Big Star Denim Jacket-Thrifted
MIA Wedges- Marshalls
DIY Clutch

This minty drop-waist dress was the perfect remedy for facing another Monday. It isn't a maternity dress, but I added a belt to cinch the top and make it a bit more pregnancy-friendly. And throwing on a denim jacket added a little something casual to a fancier dress-making it great for everyday!
I don't have many green items to wear for St.Patrick's Day, so I thought mint could be considered green..right? :)

Metallic Speckles

Saturday, March 1, 2014

Scarf: Thrifted ($4.99) (currently sold at Target)
Olive & Oak Sweater: Thrifted ($4.99)
Joe's Jeans: ThredUp
Elizabeth & James Booties: Poshmark
Rebecca Minkoff Bag: Plato's Closet

I scored big time at the thrift store this week; I guess there will be another haul in the future! This sweater and scarf were both purchased and I've already worn both multiple times. The sweater is splattered with silver metallic paint-which I absolutely love! I saw the scarf is actually being sold at Target now, so I was able to get it brand new at the thrift store for a fraction of the price.Yes!

Yesterday marked week 31 in my pregnancy and tomorrow will be 2 months until my due date. Time has seriously flown by and I know our little man will be here before we know it!
I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I have a baby shower tomorrow that I'm beyond excited for :)

Cheshire Blouse

Friday, January 24, 2014

Splendid Top: ℅ Marshalls
Jbrand Wax-coated Jeans: Marshalls
Steve Madden Heels: Thrifted ($5)

I love every little thing about this vibrant blouse.
I've worn it countless times and still love as much as I did when I first picked it out. Only very recently did I realize it's almost identical to the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.

I was always terrified of that cat, but it doesn't change my mind about this beautiful top. I barely fit in my wax-coated jeans, so I squeezed in another wear before I retire them for a few months.

Today marks 26 weeks for our little babe. We're thrilled and seriously can't wait to meet him. It's amazing how we love this little guy so much and we haven't even met him yet!
I have a fabulous giveaway coming up for all the expecting mamas out there. And if you're not expecting, you can still enter! More on that next week :)
