Sharing how I get out of that winter weather rut with cute tights from Marshalls

Free People Dress, Sweater, Studded Bag, Tights, Boots - c/o Marshalls

always making his little kissy faces

On cold days, the first thing I reach for in my closet is a pair of jeans and a cozy sweater- some days that's perfect, but after a week it gets a bit redundant! I mean, there are only so many different combos you can do with jeans and a top. Every winter, I search and search for warm tights that I can pair with dresses or skirts, so I'm not cold halfway through the day. Usually my hunt ends in cheap tights that snag after an hour or tights out of my price range. Enter Marshalls hosiery saver! I went in search for knitted black tights and found dozens of different styles and textures. I was in hosiery heaven! I had tons of different styles in my cart and ended up purchasing a few different pairs for this winter. Most packs I picked out had two pairs- one simple black pair and another different style (textured, knit, lace). The ones I'm wearing in this post came in a two pack by Chinese Laundry and were the knit style. Not only are they a thick, warm tight, but they didn't snag after a full day of wearing them. These bad boys were $8.99 for two pairs and I'm so excited I picked them up in time for the upcoming holidays!
For my look, I layered a knit sweater over a long sleeve Free People dress for extra warmth. Ladies- that's another way to get some more wear out of your summer/fall dresses- layer on a winter sweater and a pair of tights! Just because some days are dull, doesn't mean your wardrobe needs to be! Get out of that winter weather rut and dress up for your days. I promise you won't regret it!
