Holiday Gift Giving

I know what you're thinking -- not another gift guide!
I'm actually talking about a Secret Santa gift exchange I was a part of. I don't know about you, but I LOVE secret santas and by love, I mean I am obsessed with them! We would do them when I was in school and sometimes my family would do them around the holidays. I think one of my outward love languages is gift giving, so I thoroughly enjoy thinking of the other person and shopping for them.

When Marshalls set up a Secret Santa with the other Project Fab bloggers, I couldn't wait to get started. I actually met this girl when I was in Boston, so I had an idea of what I wanted to get her. Not only is she super chic and fun, but she is also a mom, so I wanted to make sure I got her a versatile piece that she could wear at home with her daughter or dressed up for datenight.

From decor items for your home to the perfect beaded clutch for a holiday outfit -the possibilities for gift giving at Marshalls are endless! Which made it even more of a fun challenge to pick out the #bestgiftever. Do I get her a designer clutch? A fur vest? A fancy cake plate? All three?
While browsing the racks, I noticed an incredible cowl neck sweater by Joie. It was in a pretty tan color and had a great slouchy fit- perfect length to wear with leggings or some cute distressed denim. I knew it was totally her! And it was only $49 compare at a whopping $220. I will admit that I loved it so much-- I bought the same one for myself! Oops. I picked up some pretty gift essentials on my way out- gift wrap, festive cards, and bows. One stop shop! I plan on doing all my Christmas shopping at Marshalls this year because I can shop for everyone on my list and stay within budget.

I know many of you are wondering about the winner of the giveaway..
Thank you to everyone who entered! Congrats, Ly! If you can email me your info, I'll send you your gift card so you can score some holiday goodies!

Earlier in the week Uriah received a little gift from Marshalls and it was probably the sweetest thing ever. Nick is a fire fighter and they got him a truck to be "just like daddy"
I know he will love the little truck, but his favorite part was the wrapping paper and trying to eat the box. I think I'll just wrap a bunch of empty boxes for him this Christmas. Hah! Sounds horrible, but he would probably love it.
