Today I’m getting a little personal. Yesterday was a
difficult day for me because my grandpa passed away. We were extremely close and was so blessed to be able to live with him for 18 years. Yesterday brought
so much pain, but I was able to look back on all the amazing memories I was blessed to make and what a gift it was to have such a great relationship
with him. I was reminded how incredible it was to have him around for all the big moments in my life and what a great man he was. My heart is hurting, but there is comfort and hope knowing he is
in a place where he is not restricted by his body or mind, but at peace in heaven
with his beautiful bride.
I will always have a special place in my heart for him and will hold close the great memories I have.

Oh my goodness I am so sorry for your loss. I only have one grandparent left--a grandfather--with whom I am extremely close. When his wife, my grandmother, died, I felt such a horrible loss and still do. But it is so important to think back on all the great memories and lessons they taught you. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Awww, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! I wish that we never have to experience loss and can be with our loved ones forever. I'm glad that you have a good relationship with him and he was a very loved person. He has carried all these great memories with him to heaven :)
