Nick and I went for a sunset drive today, it was romantic and beautiful. It's amazing to think that this area is only 10 minutes from where we live. I felt like I was in a completely different city. Nick's dream is to move out here when we get older, and I don't think I would mind having this lovely view everyday!

This wind is crazy! I did my hair this morning and put it up once I got home from my blog pictures. I decided to wear this jacket layered over a thick sweater. Sometimes my classrooms get cold and sitting in a bulky jacket is uncomfortable, so layering is key. These are my go-to boots for this season. I'm saying this because I've posted them multiple times already and feel like I need to explain myself. Hah! Seriously though, these bad boys are all weather boots that go with anything, of course I'm going to wear them 24/7 :)

Have you ever had one of those mornings where everything you try on just doesn't work? Ok that happens to me about 4 times a week. No joke! So about 5 outfits into the madness I came up with a brilliant idea, steal Nick's clothes! I grabbed a button-up with fall colors and voila! I didn't want it to seem like I stole my husband's shirt, so I added a cardigan and cuffed over the sleeves. It gave a more fitted look, at least to me it did :) Poor Nick, I'll be raiding his closet allll the time now!

I was excited to wear these shoes! They remind me of the Gucci bamboo horsebit style. I snagged these flats for $1.50 at the thrift store. They are comfy and add a pop of color to the outfit! 


I'm starting my countdown till the semester is finished! Only a few weeks left until thick cozy socks and sleeping in! Well, maybe just the thick cozy socks :) I'm really excited to do some DIY projects over break. It's my favorite hobby but it's tough to do during the school year because I'm busy with homework. So during my winter break be prepared for a overload of crafts. Who doesn't love crafts though?!
